Auckland Council
Auckland Council has a vision of zero waste by 2040, and in its Waste Management and Minimisation Plan (WMMP) aims to reduce total waste to landfill by 30% by 2027. The council has identified C&D waste as a priority to achieve the WMMP's target. The council aims to work with developers to support C&D waste diversion. The council has produced useful research and resources, including Cost benefit analysis of construction and demolition waste diversion from landfill (2019).

Environmental Choice New Zealand
Environmental Choice is the official New Zealand environmental labelling programme. In 2019, this organisation developed a specification for construction and demolition waste management to help reduce the amount of waste going to landfills.
