Superlux SVE90, SVE90-Fire 60, LDLB90 and LDLB90-Fire 60 recessed light fittings
<p>The downlights consist of a steel body closed at one end and open at the other with a turned-out flange. The light fitting has measured dimensions of 91 mm high x 84 mm external diameter with the flange extending the overall diameter to 102 mm. There are two steel retaining springs positioned equally around the circumference of the body. Above the steel body is an aluminium cover onto which a bracket for the transformer box is screwed. The plastic transformer box is stated to be made from self-extinguishing plastic. A halogen dichroic lamp is provided in the SVE90 and SVE90-Fire 60 downlights, and an LED lamp is provided in the LDLB90 and LDLB90-Fire 60 downlights. These are secured within an aluminium cover, which is pressed into the steel body and secured with retaining clips. The SVE90-Fire 60 and LDLB90-Fire 60 downlights are provided with a YN-206 intumescent coating of nominal 300 micron thickness. The downlights installed, with a bead of fire seal provided around the body to seal the annular gap between the downlight and the ceiling lining, in the plasterboard ceiling linings of Winstone GIB® floor ceiling systems as listed will not prejudice the fire resistance of the floor/ceiling systems for periods up to the stated FRR.</p>

GIB® Fire Rated Protected Steel Penetrations in GIB® Fire Rated Walls or concrete/masonry fire rated walls.
<p data-block-key="s9h44">Winstone Wallboards Ltd fire rated timber and steel framed walls with protected steel penetrations protected 300 mm each side of the wall with the same lining as the wall (universal walls 600 mm on lined side), packed with mineral fibre insulation along the protected length and any gaps sealed with GIB Fire Soundseal®. Minimum steel section 64 mm x 0.5 mm thick steel stud or similar. The maximum section thickness shall not exceed 20 mm for FRRs up to and including 60 minutes, and 10 mm for FRRs of 90 and 120 minutes.</p>
