Exceeding the minimum #1: Consumer attitudes to exceeding minimum standards in refurbishments and retrofits (2021)

BRANZ surveyed how homeowner’s make decisions that exceed minimum requirements of the New Zealand Building Code during refurbishment and retrofitting of their properties. Findings from the survey indicate that customer perceptions around cost and difficulty accessing good information may be barriers to lifting performance.
