3M™ Fire and Water Barrier Tape

3M™ Fire and Water Barrier Tape used as follows without being detrimental to the FRL/FRR of the systems as follows:

Linear Gap Seal in concrete slab and concrete slab perimeter barrier system against concrete/masonry wall:

• Standard: AS 1530.4:2014, AS 4072.1-2005
• Minimum of 120 mm thick concrete floor slabs for an FRL/FRR = -/120/120
• Minimum of 150 mm thick concrete floor slabs for an FRL/FRR = -/180/180
• Maximum joint width of 100 mm
• Mineral wool fill depth minimum 100 mm
• Minimum mineral wool density 96 kg/m³ (when compressed within joint – for example 150 mm thick 64 kg/m³ compressed to 100 mm within joint.)
• Overlap of 3M FWBT minimum 25 mm beyond the joint edges
