ER79 Overseas programmes for improving the operational carbon emissions from existing residential buildings – lessons for Aotearoa New Zealand

The research identified international examples of initiatives that promote renovations and retrofitting, with the objective of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from existing buildings. These were viewed through a New Zealand lens to present cost-effective solutions for New Zealand that could be readily implementable now, or in the immediate future.
