TR8 Method for fire engineering design of structural concrete beams and floor systems (1991)

Technical Recommendation 8 describes a rational design procedure that applies to structural engineering principles and material properties at elevated temperature to the calculation of fire resistance of reinforced or prestressed concrete beams and floor slabs.

Two worked examples showing practical use of the rational design procedure are included.
