Join My BRANZ to make the most of our website:

You can join or sign in to My BRANZ at the top of your screen.

Searching the BRANZ shop

The two search options can be used separately or together:

  • Enter any search information in the text box - you can search by system number, title, author and item information.
  • Select a publication category from the drop-down list to see all items within a specific publication type or to search within the publication type.

In all cases, click the arrow to start the search.

Shopping cart

To add a BRANZ shop item to your shopping cart:

  • in list view, click the 'Add to cart' option for the format you would like to buy, or click on the item title to open the product information window, then click the 'Buy' option for the format you would like to buy 
  • in gallery view, click on the item title to open the product information window, then click the "Buy" option for the format you would like to buy.

To view your shopping cart, click the 'View shopping cart' link at the top right of the screen.

The cart summary shows the number of items currently in the cart and the value of those items excluding any post and packing charges.

If you wish to purchase more than one copy of any item, enter the number required into the quantity column in the basket and click the Update Quantities button.

Completing the checkout form

You may find that your web browser displays messages about entering or leaving secure areas as you go to the checkout form and as your payment is processed, including one that may display immediately following submitting the checkout form. Please click Yes or Continue to continue with the order process. Please be assured that, at no point, are your credit card details passed along an insecure link. 

Go to the checkout by clicking 'Checkout now' link at the top right of the screen or the the 'Checkout' button on the Shopping cart screen. The checkout form is located within a secure area of the website to protect your personal and credit card details.

A number of items on the checkout form must be completed, and these are marked with an asterisk. This is the information that we believe we must have to be able to correctly deliver the items ordered.

All communications about your order are made by email so it is very important that you enter your correct email address on the checkout form. We suggest that you double check your email address and other details before you submit the form.

Postage and packing costs

Postage and packing costs apply to many items in the BRANZ shop. These costs depend on the country of delivery and are calculated once the country of delivery has been selected on the checkout form.

If the country you wish the order to be delivered to is not listed on the checkout form drop-down country list, please contact PublicationSales@branz.co.nz to place your order.

Paying for your order

Payment for items in the BRANZ shop must be made by Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit cards. No other payment methods are available from the BRANZ shop. Please contact PublicationSales@branz.co.nz if you wish to order items from the BRANZ shop using a different payment method.

When you click the Submit button, a check is made that all the mandatory items have been completed. If any have not been completed, a message will be displayed, and when you are returned to the checkout form, the missing items are highlighted in red.

When the Submit button is clicked, and all mandatory information has been entered, the checkout form is cleared as the credit card payment is processed, to protect your personal and credit card details. If your credit card details are incorrect and your payment is declined, a payment declined message will be displayed. If you wish to process the payment for the order again, you will need to re-enter all details onto the checkout form.

If the payment is processed successfully, a thank you message will be displayed, and you will receive an order confirmation, which is a New Zealand GST receipt, by email.

Delivery of items

Go to your My BRANZ page to download PDF files, or view webstreams and/or tests that you have purchased. Click on a link to download/view an item.

Printed copies and so on will be mailed to you.

Print settings

All printers have different settings and the width of the page you wish to print from our website could be outside the printable area, meaning some text is missed off. When you choose print in your browser, look for the properties or options dialogue box and choose 'scale to fit' or set 'scaling' at 85 percent - this will make the whole page fit to the printer paper size.
