This addendum report to SR120 provides further assessment on the expansivity of soils at six sites within the Auckland region and considers the applicability of the design methodology set out in AS 2870:1996 Residential slabs and footings – Construction for buildings constructed in accordance with NZS 3604:1999.
It is intended for researchers, geotechnical and structural engineers, property developers and other workers in the field of building construction to NZS 3604:1999.
