Zero carbon built environment #4: Towards a consistent approach for evaluating building performance for low-carbon houses (2022)

Several tools are available to evaluate carbon emissions and building performance, but inputs are not always consistent, and some tools are difficult to use.

BRANZ asked stakeholders about the issues they face when evaluating building performance and they told us that a well-designed, low-cost, New Zealand-based tool, underpinned by consistent data, would resolve many of the issues faced by building professionals.
