About this programme
Water is expected to become an increasingly scarce commodity in the future. However, there is little information about how water is used in New Zealand homes. This project looked at how water is currently used, and how water-conscious New Zealanders are. It also provided a benchmark for residential water use that allowed regional comparisons, and identify opportunities for water efficiency.
