About this programme
This project looked at the choices consumers currently make about upgrade options. It explored what drives these choices and what information they use to make their choices. It considered the effect their decisions have on costs and benefits. The purpose of the project was to understand what value (if any) consumers place on building performance upgrades. It looked at areas such as insulation, windows, plumbing cladding and heating. This provided insight around existing consumer behaviours in exceeding the minimum standards.
