Description
The test specimen consisted of 11 cable support systems, six of which are included in this report. The cable support systems were installed within a 4,000 mm long x 3,000 mm wide x 1,900 mm high concrete furnace enclosure.
Specimens B and D comprised EMT5/150 cable trays supported by FR Cantilever 150 brackets attached to U channel, which was through fixed through the concrete furnace enclosure.
Specimens F and H comprised EMT5/150 cable trays supported by FR Cantilever 150 brackets, which were through fixed through the concrete furnace enclosure.
Specimen I comprised a 600 mm wide cable ladder fixed to 800 mm long back-to-back sections of U channel, which were suspended from the concrete furnace enclosure via M12 threaded rod.
Specimen K comprised two EMT5/300 cable trays side by side fixed to 800 mm long back‑to‑back sections of U channel, which were suspended from the concrete furnace enclosure via M12 threaded rod.
