Loadbearing timber framed plasterboard wall

Description

The test specimen consisted of a wall nominally 3,010 mm high x 3,000 mm wide. The wall frame was constructed from SG8 H1.2 timber studs and nogs, nominally 45 mm x 90 mm and then lined with a single layer of 10 mm thick Elephant Standard plasterboard on both faces.
