Innova® 60-minute load bearing, timber framed wall with Knauf Earthwool Glasswool

Description

A wall nominally 3,000 mm high x 3,000 mm wide. The wall frame was timber studs and lined with 13 mm thick GIB Fyreline® plasterboard on the unexposed side. On the exposed side, 6 mm thick Innova® Durabarrier® was fixed to the timber studs. A 9 mm thick layer of Innova® Duragroove® was fixed to timber battens over the top of the Innova® Durabarrier®. The cavity was filled with Knauf Insulation Earthwool Glasswool R2.8. A uniformly distributed axial load of 14.2 kN was applied to the specimen.
