Winstone Wallboard GIB Weatherline® Ceiling Systems

Description

Timber or steel framing spaced at maximum 600 mm centres. The ceiling is lined with one or two layers of nominal 13 mm thick GIB Weatherline®. All sheet joints are to be backed by framing with screw fixings spaced at maximum 200 mm centres to the body and perimeter of the board. In the cavity the GIB Weatherline® and framing is to be overlaid with minimum 90 mm thick R1.8 or higher glass wool insulation.

If the GWUC 30 or GWUC 60 systems includes a timber or similar flooring, i.e. minimum 20 mm oriented strand board or particleboard, 19 mm fibre-cement or 17 mm structural plywood, the glass wool insulation is optional.
