BU623 Curing concrete (2018)

Proper curing requires maintaining an adequate amount of water within the concrete and controlling temperature while the hydration of cement occurs. Failure to properly cure concrete for the correct duration can impact on the durability, compressive strength, density and abrasion resistance for the concrete.
