BU486 BRANZ Household Energy End-use Project (2007)

Product Description

The BRANZ Household Energy End-use Project (HEEP) research was designed to show how, where and when we use energy in our houses. Started in 1997, HEEP investigated 400 houses from Kaikohe to Invercargill.

This bulletin provides a brief background to the study. It also uses the findings to show how designers and builders can provide homes that give their owners the benefits of energy efficiency or energy conservation.

The bulletin covers HEEP'S overall findings as well as HEEP findings and lessons related to space heating, water heating and other energy use.
