Wall and Roof Cladding Analysis Tools
Developed for designers and environmentally aware building owners, the updated 2009 version of the wall claddings life cycle analysis tool (WinZip file 87KB) provides data on environmental impacts of common wall claddings used in domestic buildings in New Zealand. The initial and life cycle costs of the claddings are also provided. The tool enables the environmental impacts to be combined with the cost data to arrive at an overall score for each cladding.

The tool requires the Microsoft Excel software (version 2000 or later), and you need to set the macro security level to medium to run the programme. The Readme file (included in the download zip file) tells you how to do.
