Electrical design - level sustainability series
In recent times, the New Zealand building industry has had to cope with a range of new materials and installation requirements as well as a changed compliance environment. Sustainability of our material choices and improving energy efficiency within buildings is also gaining prominence.
This guide, the 11th in the Level Sustainable Building Series, is designed to take building practitioners through all of the design and detail requirements for the design and specification of electrical and other cabling in domestic buildings. By doing this, we will enhance the sustainability of the built environment by designing electrcial installations that ensure our houses are healthy, efficient, well features, comfortable to live in and energy efficient.
