 BEES Stakeholder Survey 2010

The BEES (Building Energy End-use Study) research will provide a greater understanding of the how, why, where and when energy and water is used in New Zealand's non-residential buildings. Through actual measurement and analysis of energy use in buildings, BEES will identify opportunities for increased operational energy and water efficiency. In order to meet the goals and objectives, BEES will focus on the following key priorities:

  • Understanding energy and water use in a significant number of buildings.
  • Providing stakeholders with new knowledge on the best opportunities to improve resource use efficiency.
  • Ensuring the study complements, rather than duplicates, other relevant research activities.
  • Ensuring the data collection and analytic activities are cost-effective and ‘right for use'.
  • We want to understand what new knowledge and information you would like to see come out of the BEES project. To assist in this process we have prepared a short online survey and would appreciate your feedback and answers. It should take no more than a few minutes to complete.

Find out more about BEES or for more information, contact Lynda Amitrano (Manager - Sustainable Built Environment).

All information collected by the survey will be held securely and used only for analysis to support the BEES research. At the end of the survey, you will be given a chance to request further information on BEES.
